Getting your new EnquiryBot up and running on your website is a simple as adding a small snippet of code in the right place.
*When setting up your EnquiryBot your customer success manager will be in touch with your website developer to give them the code and directions of how and where to add.
In this article we'll cover:
1. Where to find your EnquiryBot embed code
Step 1. To find your EnquiryBot code click on the bot icon on the left menu.
Step 2. Click on the bot name of the bot you want to get the code for.
Step 3. Go to the "basic info" tab and then click "copy" code.
2. Where do I place this code on my website?
This part is a little technical but for your website developer, it's common practice and should be a breeze...
Place the code on all pages just before the closing of the </body> tag.
For example: <head></head> <body>..........<EnquiryBot code></body><footer></footer>
*Important: Any editing of this code or spaces or line breaks can result in your bot not showing or not working correctly on your website. Please ensure not to edit the code. Editing the code of your website with this approach should only be handled by a web developer as it may break your website if not added correctly.
3. I don't have a web developer, can I add the code myself?
Absolutely! There are a couple of DIY methods to add the code that are easy to do.
